ESME Diabetes Solutions was founded in 2022 in Queensland, Australia. From over 30 years of being Diabetes Educators, Helen and Amanda were repeatedly exposed to, and frustrated by, various and seemingly obvious large gaping holes in the way the disease was detected and managed. After co-authoring their book Get Smart with Type 2 Diabetes, a guide for all people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes or metabolic syndrome, they set out to shine a light on these gaps they had found.

Acknowledging the scale of the problem they had ahead of them, Helen and Amanda established their founding team. With a plan to scale globally, a team with execution and marketing experience would be needed, with above all, an unwavering drive and passion to succeed - so Olivia and Adam were onboarded, and ESME was formed.

It is the team's deep understanding of the pain points experienced by people living with diabetes, and their scientific knowledge and practical knowhow, that has brought the products to life. And this is just the beginning, with many more products to come!

Tim spent over 30 years as a Corporate Services Manager in the finance industry, before commencing in the health consumer representation and advocacy space.

Tim’s passion is safe, high quality, ethical, and accessible healthcare. He has worked at local, state, federal, and international levels in areas including: dietetics, radiology, diabetes, physiotherapy, and pathology.

Jeff has over 30 years’ experience in financial management, project management and management consulting within the private and public sector in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and Scandinavia.

Jeff is currently Morgans Chief Operating Officer and is a Director of Morgans Financial Limited, Morgans Holdings (Australia) Limited and its subsidiary companies, and Morgans (Hong Kong) Limited.

At Morgans, Jeff has board responsibility for the Branch network along with the firm’s Finance, IT, Legal, HR, Marketing, Clearing & Settlement, Portfolio Administration and SMSF Administration functions. Prior to being appointed Chief Operating Officer, Jeff was Morgans Chief Financial Officer for 12 years to August 2022.
